Home Tuition
This article is describing how to know and qualifying a quality home tuition tutor in my perspective. With My experiences communicate a lot with a student, parents and my colleague; consequence me to gained insights into the reality of home tuition and its philosophy.
Home tuition definitely will cost parents more than group tuition; hence there is more high expectation in private home tutors. As home tutors are meant eye to eye assist to students, the wisdom is more inattentive onto the students' minds and there is also the shift of principles and behavior subconsciously.
For me, an excellence Home Tutor has to be one that is gifted to ascertain understanding with the student. This means being able to attach and converse in the same words. When the tutor and the student can bond to each other, there will be efficient communication and efficient inherent of valuable knowledge.
The Quality Home Tutor has to be a strong motivator also. In most cases, students need home tuition because they are not faring well in the subjects they sought tuition assistance for. In group tuition, these students might face stress from the good performance rest of the students. This might lead to students wanting to give up on themselves. In home tuition, the tutor's role as a motivator comes in. There will be moments when the student will not understand the topic and start to shift his mind away. The tutor should set in and encourage him and push him on. Maintaining a positive healthy mindset is crucial to a child's performance in school.
The Tutor should be one that has passion in teaching and has a desire to help students soar in their grades. He should not see tutoring as a job. With these criteria met, he would be willing to stay behind after the tuition lesson and update the parents and student on the academic progress of the student. He should take the proactive approach to do this form of updating. With proper tracking of progress, the tutor can then be more certain on his teaching style and pace.
To sum up my views, a Quality Home Tutor isn't just one that is an expert on his field of teaching, but more importantly, it is the method of his sharing of knowledge that determines the quality factor

Nowadays, parents are mostly busy with their work and are away from home at significant hours of a day. Parents have no excessive time to monitor their own children homework and sometime their children educational progression
First of all, hiring a home tuition tutor will allows parent to maintain their current work schedule, and at the same time, keep an eye on their children learning progress through the home tuition teacher.
If we look to the ratio of student and teacher at school, mostly around 35:1 ,it seems most of the students will be left in the class, since the teacher is incapable to focus on respective students. From the experiences, most of the student that I am tutoring is highlighting their concern that there are not having treated right or equally from their teacher. Nowadays, the syllabus is more advance and start globalize. By providing home tuition to our children, it will improve the student understanding to align and advancing their knowledge with their learning in school.
The children time is also occupy with a worth while activity as home tuition is there for them.
It is proven and not fiction, most students that having a home tuition is improving significantly in their results. See this results.
Others, to those parent that care about safety out of home of their children instead sending them to tuition center. Home tuition is the ideal idea to ensure the safety of the children since the learning class is held at parent house.

About Me
Saya Hafiza atau lebih dikenali dari kalangan anak murid saya 'teacher fiza' telah menjadikan bidang Home Tuition and Group tuition sebagai kerjaya dan kareer saya sepenuh masa.
Diatas minat mendidik, saya telah mula mengajar tuition secara part time pada tahun 2002 iaitu ketika saya masih menuntut di Universiti Malaya didalam bidang sains fizik (elektronik). Kini sudah 7 tahun saya menceburi profesion ini.
Saya juga telah menubuhkan EDUMIND TRAINING sebagai syarikat yang berdaftar dimana terdapat beberapa orang guru yang berkhidmat bersama-sama saya. Setakat ini Edumind Training bergiat aktif di sekitar Selangor ; Bandar Baru Bangi, Kuala Lumpur; Bukit Antarabangsa, Setiawangsa dan Wangsa Maju.
Edumind Training pada ketika ini mempunyai guru yang khusus pengajarannya kepada subjek English, Sains dan Math untuk pelajar UPSR dan PMR. Manakala untuk pelajar tingkatan 4 dan SPM kami lebih mengkhususkan kepada aliran 'pure science' iaitu subjek Fizik, Kimia, Biologi, Math and Add Math.
